Borrowing Policy of the Eastchester Public Library
Your free library card is issued for three years from the date of registration. Two forms of ID, one with your name and current address, are required the first time you register and each time you renew your card. Your Eastchester Public Library card is honored at all member libraries of the Westchester Library System. Loan Periods and Renewals
Limit of 6 videos and 4 DVDs per card, and 20 music CD's. There is no limit on Adult books. Children's books may be limited due to school assignments. Check with the Children's Librarian for more information. Due date slips are printed out for your convenience at the check-out desk. Be sure to check carefully for the due dates. If you are unsure when an item is due back to the library, call for assistance. Extended Use Fees
Interlibrary Loans Books may be borrowed for you from other libraries. For an Adult Book, there is a 50cent fee for processing each request. Ask at the adult reference desk for more information. There is no fee for a Children's Book.
